Chamois

Of the antelope family, the Chamois has exceptional eye-sight and the ability to run effortlessly in the roughest terrain. Both the bucks and the does have horns, but the females horns are normally thinner. The bucks are usually solitary or in small bachelor groups, but at the onset of the 'rut' in April, they join the female family groups and the older bucks become aggressive, driving off younger males. The Chamois is a small nimble animal that doesn't require a large caliber, but the rifle should be flat shooting with good optics.
