How do we typically hunt?
4 wheel drive to the hunting area, stalk on foot. Some mountain hunting is accessed by helicopter.

What is the terrain where we hunt like and how physically fit do we need to be?
The terrain varies from easy rolling terrain to mountain terrain. We offer hunts for every level of fitness and age, we never hunt outside of your personal comfort zone.

Where do we stay while hunting?
Our base camp is a five-bedroom ranch house. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, there are two large living areas with open log fires, private outdoor spa pool with a fresh water policy, private email room, private cloak room and storage facility for weapons and excess luggage. The ranch house has recently been refurbished to ensure all visitors have a warm comfortable stay.

Can we bring firearms into NZ?
Yes. NZ customs are very friendly. There is a simple procedure of filling out a firearms permit prior to your arrival, which we mail to you. No handguns or automatic weapons are permitted.
